Joining different walls and finishes - Revit

I'm trying to make the elevations of the buildings as clean as possible. I have a few different wall types, though with the same finish, and they won't join together. Is there a way to create a seamless facade with the different elements without using the invisible line tool? (it hides some necessary lines as well when I do that, so that won't work). Some of the walls are identical and it's just a matter of how far the finish is pulled beyond the build up of the wall.
