Hi all,

Just wondering if someone out there has ever experienced problems the one's I'm having when dealing with the Revisions on Sheet dialogue in Revit 2014.

I'm currently working on a project using a template file I created just recently, and it's working great - except for the revisions. For some strange reason it's decided not to show the revisions data I entered in the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialogue into the Revisions on Sheet dialogue (see images below).

94245
94246

In the Revisions on Sheet dialogue Revit does seem to acknowledge the same number of revisions that I entered in the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialogue (2 in this case), but it won't display the revision content i.e. Description and the Shown in Revision Schedule check box.

Has anyone come across this before? I'd really appreciate some help.

Yes I've seen this before recently. I didn't find a way to fix it. It looks like a bug because it only affected one project while others were fine. I suggest you submit a support request to Autodesk so they can look at your file.

Hi Jeff,

I am currently having the same issue with my revisions.
Did you submit to Autodesk, and if so did they respond or solve the issue?

Thanks

Okay I have tried transferring Project Standards;
- Revision Settings
- Project Info
- View Types
:?:I'll try anything once

I have Tested our template which handles the Revisions Fine
- Loaded the Titleblock that is not displaying Revisions
- Implemented Worksets
- And a host of other Project Setting changes that have been made in the current project

Nothing I have done causes the Revisions on Sheets Dialogue to Bug out in a new project
And nothing I have done in the affected files has remedied the situation.

Any Suggestions??

No, I simply created a new template file and copied and pasted as much of the old template into the new one as I could.

I added the same labels to the sheet template as the old one, and then created a new revision schedule, which in this case appeared to work. The whole process took me less than an hour.

I have the same issue but in our Template! :(
Has anyone found a fix/ submitted to Adesk?

Yep, I had the same problem show up in our template. I sent the file to our Autodesk reseller to see if they could fix it and their response was basically, "Yep, it's broken". I rebuilt the template from scratch and now keep an absurd amount of backup files in case the issue appears again. As far as I know there's no fix.

We had the same problem, and had to send in our files to Autodesk to have them fixed. They told us this was a known issue with Revit 2014. Expect at least 2 business days before you get your files back.
