Hatched area calculation

I need an answer to the following problem:-
- After deleting the hatch boundary how shall I find out the area calculation for the hatched area from the hatch itself

Have a look at this thread describing HATCHB.LSP - I believe HATCHB recreates a hatch boundary and can return the enclosed area

I found this on Lynn Allen's Blog about using the LIST command (http://lynn.blogs.com/lynn_allens_blog/2005/03/quick_tip_get_t.html) and it would give you the area. Tried this with my version and it didn't. Its worth a try at least.
