I have this template file in which when you create a new legend it doesn't appear on the browser, so after you close the legend it is completely gone. It only happens in this template or any of the files that used this template. Can anyone help me? It's making me completely crazy.

I cannot upload here because it was 2100mb and the max size to upload here is 2000mb.

It sounds like you may have a corrupt template file. Any chance of recreating it?

Is there a chance that your project browser is filtering views not placed on sheets? What happens if you Edit the browser organization to show all views (View ==> User Interface ==> Browser Organization)?

Cheers,

Make sure there isn't some filter applied to your project browser that hides views that are not on sheets (or something similar).

Unfortunately the view browser is ok. It really seems that is a corrupt file (I've been using and upgrading this file for years).

Since I'll have to start from scratch, do you guys recomend any template files to download or even buy anywhere?

Before you give up all hope, talk to your reseller or AutoDesk directly to see if they can do anything to solve this for you, and recover your template/projects.

If you are on subscription you can often submit a support request directly to Autodesk through your subscription portal and upload the file and they might be able to clean it up for you and send it back. I have used the support before to fix a file that I couldn't even get to open and it took them a day or so and we got it back working perfectly.
