Offset Grading

I am creating a grading object from a Feature Line. When I complete the command I am not getting the new feature line to continue "Object Grading". Any ideas why?

Check the style of the Grading objects -- review the Display tab and see if anything is not being displayed. Also,verify that the layer(s) used for the components is on and thawed.

You got it. One of those obvious things that you cant see when you are looking to hard. Layer was off.
