QLEADER-CONTROL VERTICES OF THE SPLINE

I am having a ridiculously difficult time trying to find how to show the control vertices of the qleader spline. Does anyone know the command so that I can use the control vertices?

I believe when AutoCAD creates a QLEADER spline, it creates a grip at each selected point, which should appear when selected; each should be able to be grip edited.

Is PICKFIRST set to 1?
