I am trying to model stairs into a structure on Revit 2014. I am recreating a structure that is already built using the original design drawings. Because the stair risers could not be made simply with a multiple of the height, in order to create the stairs with consistent rises, the initial riser is different than the others to follow. How do I go about modeling this is? Surely Revit has to have some way of doing this and not assuming that everyone wants spacing that only it can calculate.

The specs for the stairs are as follows:

Initial Rise: 10 3/4"
12 Risers @ 10 1/4"
12 Treads @ 6"
Flooring +1 1/4" above steel
Total elevation change of 11'-1 3/4"

Lots of possibilities here; you could model a landing for the initial rise, and then the stair starting at the landing height. or you could break it into two flights, the first having just one rise.
