Elevation tag to automatically rotate like Section tag

Our office standard for elevation tag is different than the OOTB tag, and looks more like the section tag. I have created an elevation tag that look like it, and it works in most orthogonal cases. But when there are walls that are at an angle (in plan), the tag doesn't rotate. Please see the attached graphic. Is there a way to make the elevation tag body rotate automatically the way a section tag head does?

I tried that after reading your post. Doesn't work.

I've had similar issues before with elevations. Ended up making a section head which looked like my elevation tags, then added a new section type showing only the one head and no line. A bit of a work-around, but at least it "works".
