Problem w/wall schedule

Created a simple wall schedule, Mark, Family , Area, Length and width.
Started tagging walls, approx. five types. When I place a new tag it does not appear in the schedule, but the area and family do. I then started trying to tag all of the walls, but they do not show up in the sched. exept their areas and their marks do not. Than Family and Type show.

It's all in new construction so phases are not an issue.

Even when I add a new wall type and tag it's mark does not appear in the sched. only the other inof does.

any help would be appreicated.

You using "mark" (instance param) or "type mark" (type parem). The default wall tag is set up for type mark, I think,

Yes, that's excatly what is happening. I wish there was some kind of error trapping for this.
We have wasted a lot of time.

Sounds like your not clear on Type and Mark. Do you schedule your walls one by one (Mark) or grouped by the style or Type of the wall? This is true for all objects and you can have tags for each or even a tag that shows both type and mark.

Aaron is right... It helps to clearly define the intent of your office nomenclature. I worked in an office that used "ID" (identification) in stead of "mark". ID works well for most things also... doors, windows, finishes, etc...
