Far Clipping problem

Does anyone know if there is a problem with far clipping tool in REVIT 2014? It does not seem to work in this version. I created a view independent from its parent view. However, the offset distance seems to be make no difference whether I typed in a distance closer to the cut or farther away from the cut. Whatever is beyond, it is still showing.

What type of view are you using?
Is it turn on if it's a camera?

It is a wall section view created from a callout on a building section.

Is it set to independent? The default is Same as parent view. then you will be able to change the value

I had issues with sections and elevations in 2013. In the far clipping setting if you use the clip with line, a lot of the linked model elements (found the biggest problem with piping and duct work) wouldn't show up. If you clip with out line it would all show up. Not sure what the issue is, but if that's the one your having.... hope this helps.
(Note: it's been a while since I ran into this and I may have it in reverse. either way, try changing that and see if that helps.)
