Model line visibility

is there any way to associate model lines (that i draw in revit) and add a parameter or subcategory to these lines so that I can control their visibility in particular views via my view templates?

You can setup a view filter. You can create a new line style (Line Styles are subcategories of Lines within Visibility Graphics). You can used Detail Lines instead of Model Lines. If you want to add a line to a subcategory, you'll need to do this in the family editor. But, if you provide a little more information about what you're issue is, and what you're trying to accomplish, we (AUGI community) can better assist you.
