Arc Length Dimension tool

This Wish List Item is posted with regards the following thread -

A New Dimension type that will dimension the length of an Arc (or Polyline with curve information or Spline)

Why - Is a basic drawing requirement, that really should've been in AutoCAD a long time ago.

check cadalyst's website in hot tip harry, a few months ago they put a lisp routine that could dimension the length of an arc as an angular dimension, try september of 04, called dimarc

Is this something different that the ArcDim tool included with AutoCAD 2006?
