I'm currently using Civil 3D 2011. I opened dwg trueview 2014, and it re-associated all my plt types to trueview plt types instead of regular autocad plt type. How do I get this to change back? Thanks!

I've never used them, but after you check Plot to file in the Plot dialog and hit ok a Browse for Plot File box will open for you to select your plt file.

How are you using .plt file now? or rather how ere you using them prior to 2014 TrueView?
and what's the difference between a 2011 plt and a 2014 plt? AFAIK -- plt files aren't really a file format per se, more of a saved set of printer instructions.

I'm not having any real problem with them per se, they still work, but when i go into our plot files folder, all of the plot files have a new icon (the DWG TrueView icon) and if you check the properties of any of them, it says it opens with DWG TrueView, which they obviously don't. They used to open with unknown application. I'm guessing it may be some kind of Registry thing? I've included a pic.94864
