Hi all,

I have been trying to search posts on this but to no avail. So here goes:

I have Revit 2014 and I want to save the settings I have made such as:

File locations of templates / families
Changes I have made in options
workspace

And I want to save them so that I can use it in other computers in the office, rather than making those changes individualy on each computer. It is similar to the AutoCAD 'profiles' .arg and 'workspace' .cuix. Is it possible?

Also, when installing Revit, is there a way of NOT choosing the templates I need, thus not downloading them, as I have them already, and then direct Revit to those files after the installation. Because I have done that before, but then there is no example projects in it, and its different from if we choose the template and downloading them when installing it.

I hope my language is understandable, and thank you in advance for any help!

Gerald.

You're looking for the Revit.ini file.
That files stores all of your customizations that you make per user.
Set it up correctly on one workstation and you can copy it to the others.
As a precaution, I'd suggest you rename the old .ini file before placing the new one in its correct folder.
