Linked views losing their link in central model

I am currently working on a project that uses a central model to handle and collect all our views for printing and the linked models are used for creating the model. The problem I'm having right now is that in the central model where the views have been linked I have noticed that some elevations will randomly lose their link and revert back the by host view setting removing all the annotation that was added in the link. Due to the size of the project I have not yet been able to track and isolate the cause of this error.

I was wondering if anybody else has encountered this glitch and come up with a solution or has found out what actions may be avoided to prevent this from happening.

We too fight the same issue. What we are finding is that while in collaboration one of the other users has not taken the time to reload their linked model, once they do, it will retain the change but until then you will continue to have your link get broken. This is extremely frustrating to say the least and would love to know if there is a better way of administrating that. Very very frustrating. Okay, i'm off my soap box.
