Column Assembly

Hi everybody,

I have a little problem creating assemblies in a particular project, I wonder if the Column Location Mark can affect the creation, because it's the only parameter different between some columns and Revit insist that they are different
Someone can help me?

Im not exactly sure what you are meaning by column assembly, are you grouping connections etc? Can you provide a screenshot or some clarification?
Edit: ok this was a "new" feature I was not aware of...I just watched this tutorial found it quite useful, maybe it will solve your problem

Hi Arthur,

A quick way to play detective on this is to delete all column lines in the project and see what happens with the assemblies. (you can do it in a copy of the file) Just to rule out column location mark as the culprit. I'm not under the impression that location mark will cause a difference in assemblies but that is my suggestion for ruling it out.
Next step is to post a file with just those two columns in it for us to take a look at.
