I have a project that I messed up placing walls from ext/int sides. I need to flip the wall but keep it at the same location. I have tried with the grip arrows but it moves the wall. The foundation wall stays and then try to move the wall that I flipped. the foundation wall goes with it. Is there a trick that I can do so that when I flip the wall, it stays at the same location? I am in a jam. thanks

Not sure if this will help, but when you select multiple walls and right-click, one of the options is Reverse -> In Place. It should flip the walls without re-orienting them around the baseline...

Walls will flip around the location line. So set the location to the right place then flip them

Select the walls and look at their properties. Under 'Constraints', look at the 'Location Line' and change it to 'Wall Centerline'. This will allow you to flip the walls without them moving.

I right clicked and that option is not there. I am in 2014. That is exactly what I want to do though. I do not see how I can change the location line either. When I flip it, it goes from the inside face of the exterior wall. Are you talking about the edit assembly? I only have a 7-5/8" cmu and that is inbetween the core boundry.

I know where that location line is when I am drawing the wall but it already placed and needs to be changed. I do not see a option for that now.

As mentioned before, select the wall(s) and change the location line to ‘Wall Centerline’ in wall properties (see pic) and then flip.
