Hi there,
I realise this may be a bit of a long shot, but is there any way of creating a tapered skillion roof overhang as indicated in red on the attached drawing?
Cheers

Two ways come to mind. First, model the roof as an in-place family, and just extrude that shape. The roof will be monolithic in terms of layers. The second method: cut out those triangles with an in-place void, using the Roof type when you are making the in-place family. One last way is to build the roof out of several pieces. Make the roof represent just the roofing surface, like asphalt shingles. It will be maybe 1/2" thick, and represent the top plane of your overall roof. Next, make the vertical sides around the perimeter out of fascia pieces. These you can attach to your thin top plane of a roof. Then, make the bottoms out of soffit objects, or even more roof objects, or even ceiling objects. This last method that I described is essentially admitting that the roof as shown is probably a collection of pieces, not some monolithic thing called "roof". And for the oddly shaped side fascias, those can be modeled as in-place extrusions, or you could make stand-alone parameterized families that are face-based.

Thankyou for the help,
It worked using an extrusion and then for the return I added a blend.
