So I have searched the forum and haven't found an answer to this yet.

I created a Gross Area Floor plan to place areas. I have placed area boundary lines and placed areas with names.

I go to create a schedule using Area(Gross Building) as the category, I add the fields for name, area, area type, Level, etc... and click ok. I get a schedule with field headings but absolutely no areas scheduled. Anyone know why this would be happening? I am trying to get this done before the end of the day , finished my areas and tried to schedule and Bam! ->Fail. :(

Verify that your Area Plan is of the "Gross Building" Type; open that View and in the Type Selector (at the top of Properties), does it read "Gross Building" or "Rentable"? If this is indeed the case, then you should be able to create a new "Gross Building Area Plan" and then Copy/Paste the Area Boundaries from the other Area Plan.

OK, so the problem was that I tried copying already placed areas from a unique area scheme in a different area plan. I had tabbed over the area and saw the "x" that usually signifys the area to select. THis was actually the room that was placed. So I confused the two. The area boundary lines did copy, but the areas themselves did not. I just have to go in and place new areas which wont take that long.

Interesting fact though that unique area schemes will not schedule. Thanks for your help.
