I am trying to set a view range that I'm not sure is possible, but I'm asking anyway.

Here's what I have:
Reflected Ceiling Plan
Top: Level Above
Cut Plate: 1' 0"
View Depth: Level Above

What I'm trying to do:
I am trying to create power plans. The plans are neither floor or RCP. We want to show both the devices (usually 18" AFF) as well as the ceiling and mechanical duct.

I am trying to set this up for templates and make it as easy for users as possible. Is this possible? Am I headed the right direction, or do I need to completely adjust my method of thinking for this process?

Edit: The purpose of this is to show the ceiling grids per the architect's drawing. We coordinate our junction box locations to ensure that they are accessible and not placed over drywall ceilings.

Thanks,
Shawn

So are you trying to show outlet and switches on the wall? Or just the ceiling grid and what's above it and where. In my mind they are RCPs. Only difference to me would be that I'm setting the ceiling to 100% transparent. Shows the ceiling and whats above it.
Just a thought.
