What drafting standard revit follows concerning linestyles? What standard are you using for setting up line styles / patterns on revit? Revit seems to have a system for line patterns that do not take into consideration line thickness, therefore making all sort of lines unnusable on certain line thicknesses.

Look under the manage tab/additional settings. You will find setting for line styles, line weights and line patterns.

ISO 128-21 defines linestyles that are proportional to the line thickness.

By default, the line patterns in Revit are not related to the line thickness. For instance one can make 2mm gaps on a line pattern and apply it to 2 different line thicknesses (for instance 0.13mm or 0.7mm). This combination of the same line pattern and 2 different thickness gives 2 different linestyles, and NOT the same linestyle in 2 thicknesses. So when assigning different line thicknesses depending on the scale, on can see on the sheet many linestyles that do not have proportional relations, and do not follow ISO 128:21.

That is the question I wonder what drafting standards apply on revit linestyles?
