I have a very basic residential wall and I want to extend the sheathing and the siding down onto the foundation below. But for some reason only the Wall sheathing is extending. on top of this issue, when there is a base extension applied it seems to mess up the wall joins as seen in the floor plan.

Some other things that are acting weird:
In section view, when I try to select the wall and manually drag down the siding material, the core of the wall comes with it.
In 3-D realistic view you can see that the sheathing material that got extended adopted the siding material.

Thanks for your time!

okay so I figured out half of the issue. I had the view range for the floor plan set to -2 feet because I was doing something with the foundation. Setting the base and cut plane back to zero fixed the wall join issue on the floor plan. However the siding still is not extending with the sheathing.

It looks like you've unlocked sheathing layer only. Go back to wall edit type and unlock the siding layer as well.
