I have a kindergarten remodel I am working on. The client wants a lot of windows on the interior corridor. I am rusty in 3ds max. I brought in a revit project and I was getting serious hot spots on the window frames and left side column. I have toned it down. Before the windows themselves were showing too bright like the exit door. Now, my issue is I can't see into the classrooms. I have the mr skyportals facing into the corridor. Each classroom has large exterior windows.

I basically would like to see inside the classrooms and tone down the sun through the doorway at the end of the corridor.

Any help would be appreciated

For interior views I usually take the exposure value in the environment menu down to 10-12.5 I think it defaults to exterior levels around 15. Hit "8" on your keyboard and that'll bring up the environment panel. As for the super bright end of hallway effect.
I'd get an image at the end and let it render that. or at least render something besides letting it end on a blank horizon.
