This is my first attempt at having the url, manufacturer, model # and a sku # for a project. We are using Menards for most of the building up to a certain amount of $. I added the fields into my schedule but can not figure out how to fill/use the url. I went to the website and found my cutsheet lets say for a shower base but not able to type or insert to my schedule. Should I just make a new parameter and not use the out of the box field? thanks

You should be able to just paste the URL from the address bar of your browser into the URL parameter. Just selecting the text inside of the parameter will not do anything. If you look at the far right of the URL parameter, there will be a small box that you can click on. That box is also available within schedule views.

I would use caution when referencing a URL that you do not control. Some site change their URL periodically, and that will mess up your link. I like to have a folder within the same location as the Revit model, use a Relative Path and print/save my pdf's there. That way you'll have control of the location & information.

Cheers,
Jeff S.

Thank you. Very good idea. I know those cut sheets will not move from that folder. I will look for the box to the right of the parameter
