Revit Room Areas not showing in plan

Hi all,

I have been trying to show the room area in plan when placing a room but seem unable to.
I want to achieve what I have in the colored plan.

When you place a room the option Tag on Placement is usually on. Before you place the room take a look at the Type Selector, it offers a room Tag type. Make sure you select a tag type that also shows area. The stock template usually calls it something like Room Tag with Area. For rooms you've already placed you can select the wrong tags and use the Type Selector to choose a different tag or you can use the Match Type tool to pick the tag you like and then "paint" (tool icon is a paint brush) on that type to the other tags.

Some tags also have a yes/no toggle parameter. This way you can have program area, actual area, room name and room number and a host of other parameters built into the tag. You then edit type to turn them on/off as you like.
