Not really sure what you are trying to achieve here. Perhaps a sketch showing the end result?

I think this is what you want ?
I set the curved wall and the straight wall ends to not join. Then projected the curve wall to finish past the exterior face of the straight walls ( since the junction of the curved wall with any straight wall must be on the radial. ) I then used an in-place void to cut the profile of the curved wall to finish at the core of the straight wall. ( However, if you zoom on the left hand junction, you will see a small mismatch which could be fixed by lengthening the left straight wall or adjusting the curve radius )
I also trimmed back the floor below the curved wall.

You may also use "Tools->Join Geometry" to get rid of the overlap between the straight and curved walls.

if anybody could help me solve this one :s
i have drawn a line to illustrate what the exterior wall finish should look like.
i need it to work in 3d and plan,
but if plan view needs masking regions thats fine by me :)
using rac 2008
