Sloped Ceiling Issue

I am in the midst of showing a new sloped ceiling in an existing space and find that the sloped ceiling has an anoying property of cutting off perpendicular to the floor. Is there a way of showing the ceiling butting the existing ceiling or mitering to an adjacent new ceiling.
See the attached pdf for the condition at the intersection of new and exist. clg where the new clg. extends into the existing construction.

Is this view specific? If so then look at using the 'edit cut profile' tool for a quick solution.

If it's not view specific and is causing you a problem in avariety of views then you may wish to extend the new ceiling slightly and then model some voids to get the cuts as you require them.
