Save As & save new command will not work

I have been using 2015 Building Design Suite - Premium for a white. Save New or Save As. The dialog box does not open up. Any ideas? The only thing I have done to my systems is add a new monitor.

I can save a current project but no new ones.

Are you in a trial or demo version? They are often "crippled" to prevent paid commercial work being done on a free trial version of the software. You would be surprised how many firms try to use the education version for real projects.

Trial versions are just like authorized versions, except they expire after 30 days. They are not crippled. First, make sure FILEDIA is on (set to 1), but I suspect it's the second monitor... the dialog is lost in space. Try this after selecting the open command: In order (not at once), hit ALT then SPACE then M. That selects the current dialog for moving with the keyboard. Now, use your arrow keys to see if you can reposition it on your current monitor.

I activated the Revit 2015 long time ago. I also did a complete re-install and re-activation. 1st it was only the Save and Save As command dialog boxes that would not open now it also includes the Open dialog box.

Where is the FILEDIA? Also I disconnected the monitors and the dialog boxes do not show up, if I try anything I get a ding sound. I called Microsoft and all other software works including Autodesk products EXCEPT Revit. I did a roll back, a reinstall, I even got a response from Revit tech, not much help. They referred me to this forum re: crash or a lock up in 2013.

I have Revit 2014 running on the save machine and it works fine, only problem is I have this project in 2015. My Autodesk retailer suggests I "start the workstation's "SERVER" services and allow it to always run??? Anyone know what he is talking about?

First, make sure FILEDIA is on (set to 1)
