Imagine two elevations of a building, north and south. Neither is clipped. When I add a detail callout to the north elevation, say a callout for window head detail, because the elevations are not clipped this callout also is visible on the south elevation, where it has no relevance. I’m then forced to hide-in-view the irrelevant callout in the south elevation view. This is true for every building section, wall section and detail callout in the model! I know I can avoid this by setting the clipping depth of the elevation, but this hides the building beyond, which often I want to see.
Does anyone know of a better way?
(note: I realize I am using the term "callout" incorrectly as in Revit a “callout” is a view enlargement . I’m referring to the detail tag.)
