View Full Version : 2014 Changing a project parameter from instance to type

Hi,

I recently was walked through how to set up some project parameters so I could add a second project address to a second titleblock family in a Revit 2014 project (which the client split into two separate projects--however I needed to keep everything in one file).

Unfortunately, I'm finding I need to type the project address in manually for every sheet.

I opened Project Parameters and found that the parameter in question is set to "instance" rather that "type". I assuming now it should be "type" so that I can type the address once and have it show up on all sheets. Unfortunately, though, the buttons marked "type" and "instance" are grayed out and I can't change them.

How do I change them?

Thanks,
Derek

If you don't want to change the value on each Sheet make it a Project Information and not a Sheet one

Perfect; thank you.

Also, it will work if the parameter is set to Instance but has "Values aligned by group type" checked.
