Lineweights query

Trying to work out how to use different line weights. When I use global settings to create thicker wall lines I get behaviour as shown on attached sketch ( I have used orange colour for walls for clarity). Can anyone explain why the line weight is not "heavy" along the length of the wall line but instead I get heavy circles at corners??? Thanks.

Are there any filters active on the view? What happens when you toggle the 'thin lines (TL) button?

Post pictures of your Object Styles for Walls and you Line Weight dialogue. Looks to me like your Wall Projection lines are set to use a massive line weight. I think those 'corner' lines are actually an end view of the walls projection line.
