Last week I just started my first project in our office using Revit 2015. I have noticed that upon starting the program and first opening a project, my Properties Palette and Project Browser boxes are ALWAYS turned off. I keep them docked side-by-side on the left side of my screen, within the Revit program window.
Something similar happens in 2014 but it's somewhat seldom, and in that case the User Interface menu shows that they're turned on. I have to uncheck and then recheck those items, and then they show up un-docked, and I have to re-dock them. In the case of 2015, it actually shows that they're turned off and unchecked, and turning them on brings them up in their correct docked positions. It's just that EVERY TIME the program starts and a project is opened, I'm having to turn them back on again.
