Hi All!
Civil 3D noob here. Hopefully these are easy questions ;)
I'm trying to make a series of cross sections that show piezometer results within an embankment.
Question 1: How do you guys usually represent instrumentation in section drawings? In the past I've drawn them in manually but this time there are waaay to many. I feel like there must be a smarter way to do this. Maybe create a block that automatically updates piezometric elevation?
Question 2: My piezometers don't fall exactly on my sample lines. Some of them area a few meters up alignment, some area few meters down. Is there a way to show all these instruments in one section despite the fact that the instruments aren't exactly on the sample line? (ie. show me piezometer data from +/-5 m up or down alignment from my sample line)
Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
