Exporting to DWG from Revit

Hi there,

Hopefully you guys can help me.

I have a completed project in Revit 2014, and all is working great in revit no problems, however when we try to export the revit file to DWG most elements are exporting fine, however things like fire exits, lines which have been added as a family, and various other little annotation familys for fire drawings are appearing black in the DWG file. I know this is related to layers but will not let me change the layers. I have played around with this for a couple of hours with no avail, here are some screen shots, with how it should be in revit, and how it is in CAD when exported.

These all print fine to PDF and Print fine to an actual printer and print as seen in revit, but exporting to CAD just gets all messy.

Is anyone able to advise on this?

Are you just talking about the color your layer exports to?

Two things, there are projected colors and cut colors. If the fire equipment is being cut and that is attributed to the family you want, override the color thru the Revit to CAD exporter.
