Copy/monitor

We are new to Revit and am having an issue. Have mechanical template with Architectural plan linked. Have done all the requirements for copy/monitor and have 3 new plans created and inserted into my mechanical floor plan section. When I go to edit plan, or change discipline I can not change nor do any of my pallets work. VG, Pallets, etc are "grayed" out. What Have I done? thanks

If you used multiple copy monitor and the finish in the lower box, you still need to select the Copy Monitor tab again on the ribbon and select the green check box for Finish. It is a glitch, with copy monitor.

It is also possible that your view is being controlled by a view template. In the View Properties the View Template parameter has a button that allows you to assign a view template to control the view. If there is a name other than None then a view template is in charge.
