Hi! Is it possible to remove a cutout for a dormer in a roof with Revit? If so, how do you do it? I placed two dormers in a gable roof and used the dormer opening tool to cut out the roof at the dormers. I want to eliminate of the dormers. When I erase the dormer walls and roof, I have the "hole" in my roof where the dormer was located. I cant seem to select the "hole" to remove it.
Thanks!
Rob

Yes. You should be able to select it and delete it. Hover your mouse over the opening until it’s highlighted, or place your mouse over the edge of the opening and tab a few times, or just use the selection window (the easiest, I think) and use filter if you grab more stuff.

Thanks! I got it to work, I had to use a section line and erase it from the section view. For some reason I couldnt select the opening from plan view. Thanks again, I appreciate it.
