Xref Path saves on New Machine

We got a new production computer and installed 2014 CAD LT on it and every time we open a file the xref paths will not source their locations. Our IT guy put a different IP address on the machine for security purposes so I think that might be the issue but have not confirmed it. Even if we create a file on the machine and open it again on that same machine the paths are not saved. Please let me know if anyone has a solution.

Are you saving the xrefs with no path, relative path or full path?
Where are the xrefs? In the same directory as the parent drawing, in a relative location, or on a different server/drive?

some relative and some Full path. The Xrefs are just CAD files, same server and location.

I also just created a file on the computer and opened it on mine and the file showed all xrefs. It was fully pathed and worked like normal. So it seems that when we save the files on our other machines the new one can't link the files for some reason.
