View Full Version : Add tag to electrical fixture
I loaded the electrical panel from the Revit 7 library and placed it on a wall. I then went to tag it so it would show up in my schedule/quantities folder and it said there is no tag loaded. Do you wish to load one. I then loaded a tag from the Revit 7 library under annotations/electrical fixtures. I can place a tag but it shows up blank. What am I missing??

The Electrical Equipment tag you loaded is looking to display the "type mark" of the electrical panel. Click on the properties of the electrical panel and edit the "type mark" to be what you want it to be.
Alternatively, if you want to display just a "mark" which is the instance based element ID in Revit then you will need to modify a EE Tag to display just a "mark"

Thanks. One more thing though. How do I get it to number the panels the same way rooms and doors are numbered.??

If you mean getting the mark or type mark to auto increment, I don't think that is possible. Maybe when the MEP version of Revit is released that will be added.
