I created my partition schedule notes as a legend. When I place it on a sheet, it creates a view title. When I click the view, the visibility graphics override allows me to turn off view titles, but it doesn't happen.

Could this be a bug?

I found it!!!!! One of those topics buried about as deep as AD can place it.

What I wanted was to turn off a view title selectively, not every one on the sheet, so VG wasn't a help. What you can do is create a modified viewport with the title turned off, then apply the modified viewport to the view you want no title.

You could also use Hide Element on the Viewport; it will hide the View Title and leave the legend fully visible. The side effect is that the Viewport is no longer selectable until it is unhidden, but that can be a benefit, sometimes.
