Wall-mounted railing with component rails

How do I make a wall-mounted rail with the component railing tools? I want to use the Hand Rail Type in the Railing Type for the hand rail, which leaves nothing in the Rail Structure. But if nothing is in the Rail Structure, the sketch generates an error when I try to finish. If I put a rail in Rail Structure, then I have 2 rails when I only want one.

How are folks doing this? Are there any good tutorials y'all can recommend for component railing tools?

You don't need to have anything in the rail structure. But you need something in the top rail, use the Top Rail instead of the Hand Rail
