Is anyone familiar with how to place a precast plank as a beam system?

As long as you create your plank as a structural beam family and load it into your project it can be used in the beam system. You would define the Beam Type in the instance properties of the beam system.
Keep in mind that it will terminate the end condition square i.e if the plan sketch for the extent of beam system includes angles or curves the beam family will not adjust end conditions to automatically trim to the sketch line.

Depending on how much pre-cast work you do you may want to look into these folks.

Note: I'm not a structural engineer nor do I use this product. Might be worth exploring though.

It works pretty easily to do them as a beam system, but as Dimitri said, they will come with a squared end condition, so for each beam you will need to add an Opening By Face in order to trim the excess of the end. If anything, using a beam system will be good for the layout, then remove the system, keeping the beams.

Ref planes will trim (cut tool) the planks as well.

When I place them it is not butting them up next to each other. What Layout Rule are you giving it?

Your spacing should be set to the width of your panel with Fixed Distance

Okay, I got them to look somewhat right, but putting them in at 4' O.C. However I have a gap between the last one and my parallel wall AND the plan are not extending to the edge of the support wall like they should. 96633

If you are referring to the boundary on the left side of the image, you'll need to extend your sketch past that wall and trim it because Revit can't create 'half' a panel. As for the extent of the panels in the N/S direction you'll need to pay attention to how you create your sketch and whether you told Revit to 'extend to wall core' if you used the 'pick walls' option to create the sketch

Everything seems to be working out good, however I have a portion of the plank the rest on a curved foundation wall. Revit will not let me pick the wall for a Ref. Plane to cut the geometry of the plank. Any ideas on how to achieve this? Thank you.

You'll need to create an 'opening by face'
