Hello,

I am very new to Revit so please bear with me. I am developing a space occupancy schedule and area plan by department. My schedule has every room, square footage and department. I have one room that needs to be split 2/3 one department and 1/3 another department. Another room is half one department and half another department. The schedule does not allow duplicate room numbers so I am not entirely sure how to do this. Something like Department A/Department B works for the department description but how do I split the square footage? Also, will an area plan reflec this change?

Thanks again for any help provided.

Welcome to the forums.
Is it possible for you to simply use Room separation lines to divide the space?

Yes, but how will that show on the schedule since each room number can only appear once? Unless I am missing something. Thank you!

Actually, I think you can have duplicate room numbers, you'll just get a warning. But in this case, I would consider doing the room numbers with a suffix. For example: 131a and 131b for the different areas. The room is 131 for "real life" purposes, but the different parts are sub-components to the whole.
