So I have been utilizing Line Based Detail components throughout my project for things like drawing flashing, Insulation layers, TPO roofing, and whatnot...

We recently were told that the Stainless Steel flashing had been VE'd to a Flexible Flashing with Drip Edge.
OK... good thing i can just change the Type Comments for the family in one place - and now it changes everywhere throughout the entire project.

...but i still need to put revision clouds around all of the instances... so - what is the best way to find all the instances, to make sure i pick up allof the effected details?

IS THERE A WAY TO SCHEDULE A DETAIL COMPONENT BY VIEW IN WHICH IT IS DRAWN?

Thoughts/help?
Thanks.

That's correct, you'll need an add-on component. Personally I like Ideate Explorer, I'm guessing there's other tools out there. It allows you to search your model for just about every type of thing you can think off, apply filters and export it as a report to excel. I did check and Detail Components are one of the categories and it will list the workset for the item. Since any view is a unique workset, it can get you what you need.
