Class Description: Implementing a new technology is often seen as a disruptive transition that is expected to yield a “better, faster, and cheaper” process. The complexity of managing these responsibilities requires a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated resource. The BIM Technology Manager needs to have a solid foundation and in-depth knowledge of a specific software like Autodesk® Revit® Architecture and its impact on the profession. This class will focus on the many emerging responsibilities of a BIM Technology Manager including productivity metrics, continuing education strategies, marketability, sustainability, collaboration management, and other design practice issues.
