Setting MTEXTED to ":lisped" changes your default mtext editor to something that looks and acts like the dtext editor, meaning you can edit small text objects more quickly and use enter to close the dialog box. The regular editor will open if you click on the "Full Editor" button in the dialog box or if the text is more than 80 characters (you can further customize it if you know a little lisp).

What is the text editor? Is it just the notepad?
