Rendering with Photo as Background

Hi! Can anyone offer some tips for using a Revit rendering and merging it with a photograph. For example if you add an addition onto an existing building you can photograph the building and merge the addition as a rendering. I have it pretty close by inserting the photograph of the building as the background of the rendering. I am rotating my model and its pretty much trial and error to get the photograph and rendering into proper position. Is there a way to gain more control over the photograph or the camera in Revit? Are others doing this? I do use Photoshop for the same thing, but it makes sence to do it inside of the Revit platform for incorporationg changes and modifications.
