Class Description: Construction modelers have a unique position in the world of BIM—we may receive models from many different parties or may not receive any models at all. This session will prepare construction users for various BIM-creation scenarios: 2D to 3D conversions, outsourcing, and techniques for manipulating "delivered" models. Autodesk® Revit® users who want to extend their understanding of the pros and cons of "getting a model vs. starting from scratch" will benefit from this in-depth exploration of each process. The class includes a live demonstration of a basic 2D to 3D conversion and model manipulation example.
