Class Description: As the value of BIM grows exponentially with more participants engaged in creating Building Information Models for the project, so does the complexity of managing these different models. Understanding the collaborative workflows and best practices for building these models to be useful for the widest range of participants is critical to a project’s success. This class will present how DesignGroup and Turner Construction together are leading the coordination and management of the design and construction models for a 270,000 sq ft health care patient tower addition that is currently under construction. The project was designed with Autodesk® Revit® Architecture, Revit Structure, AutoCAD® MEP and is being coordinated with Navisworks®.
