Class Description: Learn tips and techniques to extract geometric and measurement data from Revit models using the Revit API. You will learn how Revit parameterizes 2D and 3D geometry of various building elements, including walls, floors, roofs and structural framing. You will learn techniques for measuring quantities related to the building construction, including areas, volumes, and material usage. You will also see how ray-tracing utilities can assist with analysis of the physical relationships between elements in the Revit model. Attendees should have basic knowledge of Revit Architecture, Structure, or MEP and a familiarity with the Revit API.
