I don't think I have seen anyone comment on this scenario before.
I have a plnth running around a masonry structure and I that structure has a cant brick capping. I stop the plinth just short of the door openings and I want the cant brick to return with a squint brick into the main plane of the masonry.

I have made a wall hosted void to cut away the plinth in the appropriate fashion, making the void inside a generic family but it won't cut the geometry of the plinth. For the moment I am going to use an in-place family but is there a more correct way of achieving this?
Thanks in advance for the flood of responses!
